1739Current year

Unresolved: when did the star rise?

The GM’s timeline opens with “Spring 1731 — the red sun rises.” Haroun recalled The Red Star appearing ~5 years ago (~1734), “when a bunch of bad stuff happened, especially in the west” (S4). These may be the same event remembered imprecisely, or two separate risings. The 1731 date fits far better: the sanctum discoveries, both civil wars, the plague, the Corrupted, and the false-angel summonings all begin within eighteen months of it. Left unreconciled deliberately.
