Gnaeus’s servant and bodyguard.
What We Know
- Cured. Ismad pointed the party at Father Jamar; Titus stayed overnight in the chapel and the recovery worked. (S6) See The Curse on Titus.
- Cursed by The Abbot during the retreat from the Sanctum of Sethariel. The eastern priest in Halwa said lifting it would need a much stronger priest. (S5)
- Comprehensively outclassed by Visenne de Tarrand in sparring at the Citadel of Gazra — she is far better, and she has a house gift for it (Skill at Arms). Worth knowing what the party’s best blade actually rates against a western Order Militant knight. (S6)
- Went into the expat quarter in disguise with Gnaeus and Farraj. (S5)
- Serves as Gnaeus’s bodyguard and general capable hands.
- Weathered the storm on the voyage out without trouble, unlike his employer. (S4)
- Evaluated Ari’s combat capabilities — found her more capable than expected — and got her fitted for armor and weapons on Gnaeus’s orders. (S2)
Speculation
The curse came off in a night. Either it was an ordinary malediction after all — killing the wiki’s “it’s a soul-mark, not a curse” theory — or it came off too easily. Nobody examined him afterward. See The Curse on Titus and The Call at the Sanctum.
