Eastern Hazad — rugged plateau country of the Aman clans, bounded to the east by the Smoking Mountains.
Overview
More rainfall and cooler than the lowlands; excellent volcanic soil, heavily terraced. The Ufrat breaks into many small tributaries here, few navigable far by boat. The Aman clans squabble over land and honor, and the Sultan’s regime struggles to keep consistent control.
